    We want to take the idea of "music games" away from the karaoke-style Guitar Hero model which the vast majority of these games use, and towards something really creative. We want to create a gaming experience which lets people create original music, and which has a win state that includes sharing their creations with others. This model has been used extremely successfully both within and outwith the gaming world (Vimeo, Minecraft, Flickr, etc) but an equivalent does not really exist for music. In particular, we are interested in creating games that generate music above and beyond instantaneous twitch/flick/SFX mechanics, rather using puzzles, management, strategy, or other game designs which can influence and create complex musical results.
